Pune/Nagpur: Traffic came to a grinding halt on a busy Pune street over a spicy, hot reason. The serpentine jam resulted when a giant screen at a shopping complex started displaying a porn clip, by mistake or otherwise. But the porn clip was enough to bring traffic a screeching halt and commuters glued to the screen.
Pornhub ranked India at number three in its annual Insights data released this year, with Indians averaging well over 9 minutes in time spent on watching, well, porn. Nine minutes may not be too long, but it surely is enough to bring traffic to halt when a porn clip is projected on a giant display on a busy road.
There is a reason why India ranks so high on the porn-watching meter. Remember that guy who mixed up his pen drives and played a feature-length porn film at a Kerala bus stand last year? Well, some dude in Pune took it up a notch and played it on a display visible to commuters at a traffic intersection on Karve Road. At least this time around there was no grunting and grinding heard from the explicit clip like in Kerala.

Twitter user @Mumbaekar shared the image shot by her friend on Friday of the giant screen playing a saucy clip from the site Xvideos.com. The image cannot be independently verified as we are busy chasing stories that don’t usually involve the words porn, desi masala and “desi sexy seduce cam”, like the video title in the image suggests.
The image, obviously, had gone viral thanks to the usual listicle (not to be confused with a private part) sites giving it a nudge. We will soon update this story if we can get a confirmation about the man holding an umbrella and bravely watching the clip, despite the rain, had made it past the nine-minute mark.
