Nagpur: The Traffic Department of Nagpur Police on Monday issued a notification regarding the implementation of ‘Parking Management and Development On-Street Parking Spaces’ across 11 more designated streets in the city. In an effort to alleviate parking issues and ease congestion, the Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) has identified specific zones where on-street parking will be regulated.
The Traffic Department, in coordination with the NMC, will oversee the implementation of these regulations.

On-street parking will be implemented at the 11 designated spots after seven days, before which the NMC will ensure these streets are made encroachment-free. Apart from this, other signage will be installed on these streets. With this, Nagpur has on-street parking at around 60 spots.
Any vehicle found violating these guidelines will face fines and penalties under the Motor Vehicles Act of 1988.

· Orange City Hospital to RPTS Chowk: Parallel parking on the left side
· Shankar Nagar Square to Laxmi Bhuvan Chowk: Only two-wheeler parking — Parallel parking on both sides
· Mangalmurti Chowk to London Street
· Manewada Chowk to Tukdoji Chowk
· Tukdoji Chowk to Rajakamal Chowk
· Medical Square towards the dead end of the West side
· Baidyanath Chowk to Ashok Nagar Square
· Bhande Plot Chowk to Jagnade Square
· Rani Durgavati Chowk to Marwadi Square
· Vaishnodevi Chowk to Prajapati Square
· Vaishnodevi Chowk to Shastri Nagar Chowk
