Nagpur: A sapling plantation programme was organised at Guru Nanak High School running under the aegis of Sikh Education Society. Principal Dr Jaspal Singh along withVice Principal M B Shrivastava and Supervisor S Pandey garlanded the portrait of Goddess Saraswati, followed by Saraswati Vandana. Nisha Yadav delivered a speech and dwelt upon the important role played by trees in our life. Sejal Sahare recited a poem. On this occasion a number of saplings were planted by the Principal and teachers in the school premises. The programme was organised byYellow House. Avanti Ramteke conducted the proceedings.
