Trickster dupes man, withdraws 40,000 from his account

Nagpur News: In what could be termed as misuse of excellent oratorical skills, an unknown accused duped a middle aged man identified as Altaf Ahmed Abdul Gani Ahmed aged 48 years and a resident of House No 1082, Azad Square, Sadar, Nagpur by convincing him that his ATM card is spoilt and has expired. He assured to get a new card from the bank. The gullible man gave his ATM Card along with the pin number.

The accused then managed to withdraw Rs 50,000 (fifty thousand) from his account from the ATM machine of State Bank of India, Chaoni Branch between May 29, 2014 to June 4, 2014.

When the victim of fraud realized that Rs 50,000 has been withdrawn fraudulently, he went to Sadar Police Station and lodged a complaint against the accused. PSI Patil registered a case under section 420 of IPC, Section 65 of IT Act 2000 against the unknown offender and is investigating further.
