Tricksters dupe Tata Motors Finance of Rs 12 lakh

Nagpur: Sadar police have rounded up a 61-year-old lady from Telankhedi and a 40-year-old man from Nanded for allegedly duping Tata Motors Finance Solution Private Limited in the city of Rs 12 lakh between Feb 2012 and Dec 17, 2018.

The accused have been identified as Mithilesh Shikant Dubey resident of Telankhedi Mandir and Mohammad Matil Qureshi resident of Nanded.

Police sourcs said 61-year-old Dubey had sought loan of Rs 12.58 lakhs from the Tata Motors to buy a four wheeler between 2012 and 2018. However, instead of paying the loan installments she registered the financed vehicle in Nanded based RTO with the help of Qureshi and defrauded the firm.

Following the compliant of Anil Ramdas Sahu (37) resident of Akashdeep Society, Sadar police have registered a case under section 403, 406, 420, 467, 471, 120 (B), 34 of IPC and started the probe.
