Nagpur: A young cleaner of truck who was injured in a freak accident on January 4, succumbed to his injuries early in the morning of Friday.
The deceased cleaner Amol Devnand Rangari (20), resident of Gavalipura, Gittikhadan, was injured seriously in a freak accident on 4-1-17 night. The mishap occurred when an Eicher truck (MH-31/EN 0963) driven by Umesh Fattuji Dhone rammed another truck in front of it near Dongargaon Shivar in Hingna area around 2.30 pm. Amol who was sitting beside the driver fell down from the speeding truck and suffered grievous injuries. He was rushed to the Government Medical College and Hospital. However, Amol succumbed to his injuries at 6.30 in the morning of Friday (January 6) while undergoing treatment.
Based on a complaint, Hingna WPSI Yavale has booked the truck driver Dhone under Sections 279, 304(A) of the IPC read with Sub-Section 184 of Motor Vehicles Act.
