Nagpur: A tuition teacher was arrested by Yashodhara Nagar police for kidnapping and molesting a 16-year-old girl student.
The accused has been identified as Ajaykumar Gangaram Prasad (32), a resident of Chhaoni. According to police, Prasad organised a picnic for students where he gave different tasks to the students. Along with other students, the victim also accomplished the tasks. The accused seized the opportunity and lured the girl for a party at a hotel. He took her to an Oyo Hotel near Mamta Mall on a motorcycle. The locals grew suspicious after spotting the girl outside the hotel, and thrashed Prasad.

On the complaint of the victim’s mother, Yashodhara Nagar Police registered a case under Sections 363, 354 (a), 354 (D) of the Indian Penal Code, read with Sections 8 and 12 of POCSO Act against accused Ajaykumar Prasad, and arrested him.
