Nagpur: In an innovative means of reaching out to the roots students of Tulsiramji Gaikwad-Patil College of Architecture visited the Paradsinga village on Koradi road to learn about the various uses of Bamboo and exploring bamboo as a sustainable material in the field of Architecture.

The students of Tulsiramji Gaikwad-Patil College of Architecture celebrated the World Bamboo Day with artist-activist Shweta Bhattad of the Gram Art Project at Paradsinga village on Koradi Road.

They spent two days exploring bamboo as a sustainable material and participating in a Maachan Making Workshop. Artist Lalit Vikamshi of Alag Angle was also present to mentor the students. This was followed by a talk and Workshop on Ancient Egyptian Architecture with Egyptian Architect Ahmed Osman.
