Nagpur: Two anti-socials attempted to kill a 29-year-old man with knives in Jaripatka area on Sunday. A resident of Christian Colony, Gautam Nagar, Balraj Hemraj Choudhary was sitting in front of his house.
Around 8 pm, Ankush alias Piyush Anil Paddalwar, a resident of Khalasi Line, and Lakhan Shyamrao Totalwar (22), a resident of Gautam Nagar, came and picked up a quarrel with him over an old dispute.

After heated exchanges, they abused Choudhary using filthy words and stabbed him with knives. Choudhary was rushed to the hospital.
After recording the victim’s statement, Jaripatka Police registered an offence under Sections 307(attempt-to-murder), 504 (Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace), 34 (Acts done by two or more persons in furtherance of common intention) of the Indian Penal Code against Paddalwar and Totalwar.
