Jaripatka police arrested a man and a young woman for blackmailing a married woman based on indecent audio and video.
The complainant woman informed the police that accused Zuber Sabir Bakali (39), a resident of 3rd floor, Royal Complex, Yadav Nagar, and Aparna Digambar Suralkar (29), a resident of Nazul layout, Jaripatka, provoked the woman and recorded an indecent conversation between them. On the basis of this video, the accused blackmailed the complainant and her family members and demanded Rs 1 lakh and threatened to upload the video on Youtube in non-payment of money. The accused e-mailed the voice clip to her husband and her in-laws.

On the complaint lodged by the woman, Jaripatka police arrested the accused and slapped charges under Sections 294, 383, 354 (a) and 34 of the IPC.
