Nagpur News: Four persons beat a youth and tried to kill him who had gone to meet his friend under the jurisdiction of Nandanvan Police Station. Police arrested two persons in the case. According to police, Sanjay alias Monu Durgasingh Thakur (25), a resident of Nandanvan Gali No. 6, had gone to meet his friend who was the main accused of a murder case.
Accused Vilas Baburao Borge (42), Ravi Ramesh Machewar (30), Sachin Padgilwar and Vijay Ganvin were against this meeting of Sanjay. The accused took Sanjay on their bike and took him to near Dr Jivtode Hospital. They attacked him with a knife. Ravi and Sachin attacked Sanjay with rods and warned him to stay away from his friend.

On being informed, Nandanvan police reached the spot and send Sanjay to Government Medical College and Hospital for treatment. On the complaint of Sanjay, cops registered an offence under Section 307, 34 and sub Section 4+25 of the IPC and arrested Ravi and Vilas. Police are searching for the other two accused.
