Nagpur: The Anti-Narcotics Squad of the Crime Branch has arrested two individuals involved in drug trafficking in Nagpur. On September 3, 2024, the police apprehended Yogesh Jagatsingh Thakur and Ramkumar Manoj Patel for possession of 400 grams of cannabis, valued at approximately ₹8,450.
During the investigation, it was revealed that another suspect, Majid, was also involved in the buying and selling of narcotics. A case has been registered under the relevant sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, and the accused have been handed over to Dhantoli Police for further action. The police have also launched a search for additional suspects and are continuing their investigation.
