Nagpur: A Traffic police constable was manhandled and threatened by two brothers who were challaned for drunken driving near Indora Traffic Post here on Monday evening. Both the accused have reportedly been arrested.
The complainant Naik Police Constable Shashikant Liladhar Dadamwar, attached to Traffic Branch, Indora, was on duty on Monday near the Indora Police Post. Dadamwar stopped the two accused brothers Ramlal Nidhairam Kori (35) and Lalaram Nidhairam Kori (32), both residents of Arvind Nagar. The two brothers were riding a two-wheeler under the influence of liquor. When Dadamwar initiated action against the two accused, they started hurling abuses on the traffic cop and manhandled him The two drunk bothers even threatened to bash up Dadamwar.

Jaripatka PSI S R Dongre, acting on the complaint of the traffic cop, has booked the two accused brothers under Sections 353, 294, 506(B), 34 of the IPC and placed them under arrest.
