Nagpur: Hingna police have arrested two goons who attacked a youth and tried to kill him over a girl on Wednesday noon.
According to police, the accused Sandip Nathhuji Samudre (20), resident of Dhangarpura, Hingna, Rajendra alias Akash Ravindra Gotmare (19), resident of Deoli Sawangi and their two accomplices picked a quarrel with Raj alias Pravin Santosh Meshram (25) over his love affair with a girl.
During the scuffle, the accused first thrashed Raj severely and later stabbed him on his abdomen with a knife with the intention to kill him.
Hingna API Telrandhe, based on a complaint lodged by Kunal Dadarao Uike (21), booked the accused Sandip Samudre and Rajendra Gotmare under Sections 307, 34 of the IPC and put them behind the bars. Further probe is underway.
