Two held for defrauding a person of approximately Rs 10 crore in Nagpur

Two persons were booked under Sonegaon Police Station and Sitabuldi Police Station for duping a person of Rs 5 crore and Rs 4.43 crore respectively.

In the first incidence, accused Gopal Laxmanrao Kondawar (50), a resident of Hurricane Enclave, Ramdaspeth forged signatures of Sudhanshu Manoranjan Vishwas (56), a resident of Akar Builders, Byramji Town, between February 14, 2011 and May 25, 2012 of an agricultural land and registered the power of attorney on his name. The land was sold in the year 2008. Gopal then sold the 2 acre land at Mouja Panjri, Khasra No. 42/2 to Kamalkumar Agrawal in Rs 5 crore.

On the complaint of Sudhanshu, Sonegaon Police Inspector Bhoye registered an offence under Sections 420, 465, 468, 471, 423 of the IPC, informed PI Vahile.

In another incidence, accused Sudhanshu Manoranjan Vishwas (56), a resident of Akar Builders, byramji Town, sold a farming land at Mouja Panjri, Khasra No. 43/2 and 42/2 to Kamalkumar Agrawal in Rs 4.43 crore. Kamalkumar had already brought the same land from Gopal Kondawar.

Kamalkumar Agrawal lodged a complaint with Sitabuldi Police Station against Sudhanshu Vishwas. PI Vivek Joshi registered an offence under Sections 420, 465, 468, 471, 423 and 506 of the IPC. PSI Dhobe is investigating the case.
