Nagpur: Two houses were burgled in Hudkeshwar police station area. The burglars decamped with booty collectively worth Rs three lakh from the houses, police officials said. According to police, Shyam Govindrao Khobragade (61), a resident of Pyramid city, Besa-Pipla road, had gone to Hyderabad, on December 9.
An unidentified thief entered the house after breaking open the latch of the front door and decamped with cash and gold ornaments worth Rs 2.36 lakh.
A case under Sections 454, 457 and 380 of the IPC was registered by the police. In yet another case, gold ornaments and cash collectively worth Rs 52,500/- were stolen from the house of Tejaram Bhavani Wasanik (47), a resident of Flat No. 8, Radha Raman Nagar, Narsala, on Saturday between 4 pm and 6 pm.
A case under Sections 454 and 380 of the IPC was registered by Hudkeshwar police against the unidentified thieves. Further investigations are underway
