Two including Owner of Mayur Computer booked in Sales Tax fraud

Nagpur News: Two persons involved in evasion of Sales Tax were booked under Dhantoli and Sitabuldi Police Station jurisdiction on Friday. According to police, Sales Tax Department had issued notice to pay tax of Rs 13.08 lakh for the year 2011 and 2012 to Renu Agrawal, owner of Mayur Computer, Mayur and Fabrication. Dhantoli police have booked Renu Rakesh Agrawal, a resident of Tilak Nagar, in this case.

In a similar incidence, Sitabuldi police booked Dilip Talewar for evading Sales Tax of Rs 2 lakh on the complaint of Sales Tax officer Pradeep Bhangare (56). Bhangare, in his complaint, informed that the Sales Tax Department had issued a notice to Dilip to pay sales tax for the year between April 1, 2010 and March 13, 2013. But, Dilip never paid the tax.

Renu Agrawal was also booked on the complaint of Bhangare. Investigations in both the cases are under way.
