Two miscreants set newspaper bundles ablaze

Nagpur News: The Sitabuldi police have booked two unidentified miscreants on the charges of setting bundles of a newspaper ablaze in the wee hours of Wednesday.

According to police, the complainant Dharmendra Narayan Pawar (42), resident of Vivekanand Nagar, Wardha Road, had ordered 2000 copies of a newspaper at about 4.30 am today. The bundles of the newspaper were kept at the premises of Meher Prasad Apartment in Ramdaspeth for sale to the hawkers. At the same time, two unidentified youths, riding on a motorcycle, poured some inflammable stuff on the newspaper bundles and set them afire causing a loss of Rs 7,500 to Dharmendra. The surprised Dharmendra lodged a complaint with Sitabuldi police who have booked the youths under Sections 435, 34 of the IPC and probing the matter further.
