Nagpur: A two wheeler ferrying a man and a woman – no further details as to name or relationship are available yet – met with a bad accident near the Narendra Nagar bridge this afternoon.
Eye witnesses narrate that this couple was driving on a two wheeler and as the vehicle was about to turn right a truck that was driving with some speed smashed into them. The Regn number of the two wheeler is MH 31 DG 8381 and of the truck is MH 06 AC 8626.

Other people on the road came quickly to the rescue of the injured two some and had them shifted to Government Medical college where they are being treated.
Others also tried to apprehend the truck driver to thrash him up. Seeing the intention of the crowd, the driver did get down from the truck but managed to run away. This provoked the crowd to damage the truck and break its glass panes like wind shield, windows etc.
Police are investigating the matter further.
