With the mercury already crossing 44 degree Celsius, human beings along with animals and birds are facing the brunt of it. Incidents of coal in the mines catching fire and agriculture land losing its nutrients during the summer are very common. In this backdrop, a running auto rickshaw suddenly caught fire at Ravi Nagar Square. The passengers screamed for help and the driver showing presence of mind took the vehicle on the road side thus, averting a major tragedy. However, two women travelling in it sustained minor injuries, who were referred to a nearby hospital.
