Two women robbed of gold chains worth Rs 3 lakhs

Nagpur News: Chain snatchers continued targeting women in the city despite of intensive patrolling and tight checking at sensitive points. Two women lost their gold chain worth Rs 3 lakhs in two separate incidents.

A 50-year-old Vibha Lonare was riding pillion on her husband’s scooter when two bike-borne youths made away with a gold chain worth Rs 66,000 near Alankar theatre on Saturday night.

In another incident, Rajashri Nadar was robbed of her 120 gram gold ornament worth Rs 2.5 lakh while she was walking to home at Quetta colony in Lakadganj police station area on Sunday evening.
