Nagpur: A horrifying incident has shaken the Second Capital of the State, as two young traders who were abducted from the city were discovered killed in Wardha and dumped in the Wardha River near Tallegaon on Thursday.
The victims, who were reported missing a couple of days ago, were found brutally murdered, casting a pall of grief over their families and the local community. One victim’s body has been found, while the other remains untraceable at this time.
According to the available information, the identities of the two traders, whose names are yet to be officially confirmed, were abducted before facing a tragic fate. The perpetrators mercilessly shot both victims before callously discarding their lifeless bodies into the river.
The distressing saga began when complaints of the traders’ sudden disappearance were lodged at the Birdi and Sonegaon Police Stations in Nagpur. Authorities immediately launched an intensive search operation to locate the missing individuals, but the tragic outcome came to light on Thursday morning when one of the victims’ bodies was recovered from the Wardha River.
The motive behind the abduction and subsequent murders remains unclear at this stage. The police have launched a thorough investigation into the matter.
