Two youths attack another youth with wicket-stump: arrested

Nagpur News: In a bizarre incident, two youth identified as Harshal Rajendra Selokar aged 21 years, Saurabh Prakash Dage aged 21 years, Baba Santosh Ram Palace, Behind Natraj Talkies (both of whom have prior criminal cases registered against them) had an old enmity with the complainant Neeraj Mohan Shinde aged 28 years and a resident of C-2/ 305 Bajranj Complex, Vakilpeth, Umred Road, Nagpur. Ashish Kakde aged 35, a resident of Besa who was a friend of Neeraj Shinde came in an Alto Car bearing registration No MH-31/ BB 3775 to Hanuman Nagar (falling in the jurisdiction of Ajni Police Station). There Harshal Rajendra Selokar and Saurabh Prakash Dage who were present at Hanuman Nagar started abusing Ashish Kakde with vulgar words and started hitting him with fisticuffs.

Somehow Ashish Kakde escaped from their clutches and ran away. Then accused number one   Harshal Rajendra Selokar took a Cricket wicket stump and broke the windscreen of the Alto car. Meanwhile accused number two Saurabh Prakash Dage grabbed Neeraj Mohan Shinde and urged Harshal Rajendra Selokar to beat Neeraj with the stumps. This resulted in Neeraj becoming bloodied.

After leaving Neeraj bloodied, the accused left him and escaped from the spot.

Neeraj then went to Ajni Police Station and lodged a complaint against the accused.

Ajni Police has registered a case under section 324, 323, 504, 427, 34 of IPC and after arresting the accused and presenting them in the court sent them on MCR.
