Two youths beat middle-aged man, booked

Nagpur News: Gittikhadan police booked two persons for beating a middle-aged man for want of April 14 funds on Thursday. According to information, Vijay Vitthobaji Mahadule (48), a resident of Gittikhadan, in front of Mahure petrol pump, was sitting in his electronics shop Rasika Enterprises, Katol Road on Thursday. Accused Shailesh Shewale came with his friend to collect funds to organize programme for April 14.

Vijay asked them to come later. But, they started threatening him to give the money. When Vijay did not consented to their demands, Shailesh and his friend started beating and abusing him. On the complaint of Vijay, Gittikhadan police registered an offence under section 385, 325, 504 and 34 of the IPC, informed PI Chakshupal Bahadure. Further investigations are under way.
