Brainstorming Session for CIL and its subsidiaries on Employee Cost held in Nagpur
Bal Nikunj School of CMPDI inaugurated at the hands of R. Mohandas
Nagpur: Umrer Expansion project of Nagpur Area of Western Coalfields Limited is inaugurated at the hands of Dr. A. K. Dubey, IAS, Special Secretary, Ministry of Coal, Government of India in Nagpur today. Dr. Dubey appreciated continuous efforts taken by WCL under the leadership of Rajiv R. Mishra, Chairman Cum Managing Director and said that WCL is opening one project every month & setting new dimensions to the industry. It is to be noted that January 2015 onwards WCL is opening one project every month and playing an important role in nation building. Further WCL is set to open total 36 projects in 36 months to build the capacity of 100 MT by 2019-20. Umrer Expansion project contains coal reserve of total 20.58 million tons which may be extracted approximately 2.0 million tonnes per year for 13 years, with total set up coat of Rs. 64.11 million.
On the other hand Dr. Dubey also addressed a brainstorming session for Coal India Limited and its subsidiaries on Employee Cost. This season was attended by R. Mohandas, Director (Personnel & IR), Coal India Limited and Chairman cum MDs of subsidiaries of Coal India along with B. K. Mishra, Director (Technical), Dr. Sanjay Kumar, Director (Personnel), the newly selected Director (Finance), S. M. Choudhury of WCL.
R. Mohandas, Director (Personnel), Coal India Limited also inaugurated Bal Nikunj School made under CSR by CMPDI. Chairman-cum-Managing Director of CMPDI Shekhar Saran and Regional Director of CMPDIL S. K. Sinha were prominently present on this occasion.
