Nagpur: A road accident, it seems, has put city police in a fix. Cops have been found clueless as the investigation has hit a sort of “dead end.” The deceased motorcyclist is unidentified. The ‘killer’ four-wheeler and its driver are unidentified. The motorcycle of the deceased has been taken away by another unidentified person, mysteriously. The ‘unidentified factor’ is leading the cops to nowhere and they are found to be groping in the dark as far as the mishap is concerned.
The “unidentified” episode started on June 25.6.2016. Around 12.15 pm, a speeding four-wheeler hit an unidentified motorcyclist near Vicco Labaratories, Dagdi Park, Ramdaspeth. After the accident, the driver of the four-wheeler along with his vehicle, fled the spot. Passersby rushed the bleeding motorcyclist to Care Hospital. However, On June 29, the unidentified motorcyclist succumbed to grievous head injuries during treatment.
Subsequently, the investigating officer of Sitabuldi Police Station PSI Raju Narsingh Karmalwar registered a case and started investigation after receiving Medico Legal Case (MLC) papers from Care Hospital. During the probe, the PSI Karmalkar came to know that the ‘hit-and-run’ four-wheeler involved in the accident and its driver are unidentified and are still being not traced. The deceased motorcyclist has not been identified. The grey-coloured Hero Passion Pro motorcycle (MH-31/EU 8141) was taken away mysteriously by another unidentified person. The bike and the unidentified person are not traced as yet.
All these ‘unidentified’ factors have put the Sitabuldi cops in the dock.
