Nagpur News : A youth was injured seriously on Sunday who was hit by an unidentified vehicle.
Sakkardara police informed that the incident occurred on Saturday around 11 pm when Sandeep Babaji Ghogre (23), a native of Wardha was crossing road near Dighori flyover, in front of a Scarp Dealer’s shop on his Yamaha motorcycle (CG 16 CO 125). An unidentified vehicle dashed into Sandeep’s motorcycle and left him seriously injured. The ‘killer’ vehicle driver fled the spot leaving Sandeep in a pool of blood. Some commuters noticed Sandeep’s blood stained body and rushed him to hospital for treatment.
On the complaint of victim’ cousin Subhashrao Dhote, Sakkardara police registered an offence under Sections 279, 338 and 427 read with sub sections 134 and 177 of Motor Vehicle Act.
