Nagpur: Kalamna Police made a significant arrest on Wednesday, seizing two bags containing 40 kilograms of ‘Bhang’ worth Rs 40,000 from a Uttar Pradesh (UP) based man’s possession.
The accused, identified as Dashrath Singh Triloki Singh, aged 45 and hailing from Gulalpur, Hetapatti, Bahria Block, Allahabad, was taken into custody when he got off a Raja Travel bus near Jaiswal Petrol Pump on Kamptee-Nagpur Road. Acting on a tip-off, the police team apprehended him and recovered the contraband.

The police have registered a case against Dashrath Singh under Sections 65(e) of the Maharashtra Prohibition Act at Juni Kamptee Police Station. The arrest was made by Senior PI Vinod Patil, ASI Gangadhar Mutkure, and other officials.
