For a while now, there have been reports that Varun Dhawan and Katrina Kaif will not be seen romancing each other in Remo D’Souza’s upcoming dance film. Recently, choreographer-turned-director Remo announced a dance film with Varun Dhawan and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles. Since then, the fresh pairing of Varun and Katrina have become the talk of the town. Varun Dhawan and Katrina Kaif will be starring opposite each other for the first time. Several reports suggested that Katrina will not be romantically involved to Varun in the movie.
However, as per a latest report in Pinkvilla, Varun and Katrina will have a strong parallel leads opposite each other in the film. The popular website quoted a source, as saying, “The rumours are completely untrue. Varun Dhawan & Katrina Kaif have strong parallel leads opposite each other in ABCD 3. The makers have pulled off a coup by bringing them together, for the most anticipated dance film to come out from India. So it goes without saying that they are both playing strong roles and have several scenes including major dance sequences together in the film.”

Previously, Bollywood Hungama quoted a source saying, “In fact, there won’t be a romantic interest for either Varun or Katrina. They will barely have scenes together. This will be a film about dancing, not romancing.” On a related note, the multiple reports suggest that Remo D’Souza’s next dance offering will be made in a 4D and IMAX format and is likely to go on floors by the end of this year. The yet-to-be-titled film will also star acclaimed dancer and actor, Prabhudeva. The untitled film, a franchise of the ABCD franchise, is slated to release on November 8, 2019.
