Nagpur: In a tragic incident that has left the community reeling, a vegetable vendor was brutally murdered in the Koradi Police Station area on Sunday afternoon. The victim, identified as 30-year-old Amit Bais, a resident of Lonara near Koradi, met a shocking demise that has sent shockwaves through the locals. Known as Amit alias Golu Sushil Bais, he had been struggling with personal issues, including alcohol addiction, which had led him to refrain from work for the past 15 days.
The dreadful event unfolded in the Dengre Layout area of Koradi at approximately 4 pm. Passersby discovered Bais in a critically injured state and promptly rushed him to the hospital. Tragically, medical professionals declared him dead upon arrival. Koradi Police swiftly responded to the crime scene upon receiving the alert. Upon examination, police officials observed a severe injury to the upper part of Bais’s ear, seemingly inflicted by a blunt force, possibly a boulder. An extensive investigation has been launched by the police to uncover the circumstances surrounding the murder.
