VIA HRD Forum & NIPM Nagpur Chapter jointly organized a session on “Navigate HR Challenges Effectively” on 19th January 2024 at VIA Auditorium, Nagpur.
Expert Speaker, Dr Shiney Chib, B.Tech, MIRPM, MBA, LLB, M.Phil, ISTD, Ph.D Nagpur covered the importance of Technical Skill & Soft Skill, Decision-making & problem-solving skills, Build healthy relationships & conflict resolution skills.

Dr Chib said life skills play a vital role in shaping an individual’s personal and professional lives. By developing communication, emotional intelligence, problem solving skills, time management, decision making ,critical thinking, adaptability, interpersonal skills, resilience skills individuals can navigate challenges, foster wellbeing and achieve success. Continuously nurturing these skills is a lifelong journey that empower individuals to lead fulfilling lives and contribute positively towards the workplace, family and society. Speaker spoke on the importance of IQ,EQ, GQ, SQ and NQ, intelligence, emotional, gratitude, social and noticeable quotients are extremely important for individuals. Every person has certain unique qualities and few limitations. A good leader knows how to unitise these qualities for completing tasks. She further explained the importance of “ME time”.
Dr Shiney Chib emphasised the scope and importance of the above concepts through discussion, story-telling, management games, real life examples ,interactive powerpoint presentation and audience poll. The power packed session led to a learning environment blessed with highly interaction from a highly enthusiastic audience. Speaker emphasised on regularly updating oneself in the era of artificial intelligence and chat GPT. Session was attended by industrialists, HR professionals, soft skills trainers and students.
Earlier Dr Anita Rao, Jt Secretary of VIA welcomed Dr Shiney Chib with a floral bouquet. Saurav Singh, Treasurer of NIPM Nagpur Chapter in his welcome address said soft skill is very important in our day to day life as well as for HR Professionals. Neelam Bowade, Convener of HRD Forum conducted the proceedings and also introduced the guest speaker. Dr Suresh Pandilwar, Co-Chairman of VIA HRD Forum summed up the session and also proposed a vote of thanks.
