Vidarbha stalled irrigation projects released fresh funds of Rs. 1337 crores informs Girish Mahajan

Vidarbha, where agriculture is sill largely dependent on rains for irrigation due to lack of dams, has been granted funds of Rs. 1,337 to complete work on 18 stalled projects informed Water Resource Minister Girish Mahajan today in the Vidhan Bhawan premises. This decision was passed in the House a few hours ago.

This budget has been made possible through revised administrative approval, he said.

50 such small and medium stalled irrigation projects have been restarted through such decisions after this government took over the Minister said.
