Video: Car in motion catches fire near Deekshabhoomi in Nagpur, no casualties

Nagpur: A car in motion caught fire on Deekshabhoomi Road, causing panic among commuters on Friday.

Fortunately, the driver managed to escape from the car just in time. No casualties or injuries were reported in the incident. However, the incident caused a traffic jam in the area.

Upon receiving the information, the squad of Bajaj Nagar Police and officials from the Fire and Emergency Department of Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) rushed to the spot. The flames were reportedly extinguished by the firefighters.

The car was completely gutted in the fire. The exact reason behind the fire is yet to be ascertained immediately. However, according to police sources, a short circuit may have caused the fire.
