Nagpur: A major fire engulfed hall number 2 of Agriculture Produce Market Committee (APMC) commonly known as Kalamna Market here, in the wee hours of Wednesday. Fortunately, no casualties reported in the incident, however; chilli worth lakh of rupees was gutted in the fire.

According to Fire Sources, the fire broke down at around 2 am. Acting swiftly on the input, Fire Tenders from nearby fire stations were rushed to the spot. Though firefighters, first, struggled to doused the flames owing to fragrance of chilli in the air, they however, managed to control the fire after hardcore efforts.
