Nagpur: In a recent survey conducted by Nagpur Today, students from 11th and 12th grade shed light on their daily routines, revealing a significant shift in educational patterns. Formerly, mandatory 75% attendance at colleges is the norm; however, presently, colleges witness an unprecedented drop in attendance rate.
This transformation can be attributed to a strategic collaboration between local colleges and coaching institutions. Students now attend coaching sessions during regular college hours, blurring the once-distinct lines between the two domains.
This novel approach has raised concerns, particularly for those who cannot bear the financial burden of enrolling in expensive coaching programs.
Regrettably, this has resulted in an unfortunate divide among students. Those with the means to afford coaching classes monopolize the college schedules, leaving their less fortunate peers struggling to secure regular classes.
This emerging trend underscores the pressing need for a more inclusive and accessible education system.
