Nagpur: Furious over a truck killing two girls in the Bidgaon area under Wathoda Police Station, locals reportedly set the heavy vehicle on fire on Friday.
According to police sources, the girls were playing outside when the recklessly driven truck mowed them down. Irked by this, locals set the truck on fire.

Acting swiftly on the input, the squad of Nagpur Police, including senior officials, rushed to the spot. The Fire and Emergency Department of Nagpur Municipal Corporation also reached the scene and doused the flames.
A tense environment was reported in the area. In the meantime, Wathoda Police have booked the accused truck driver under relevant sections of the IPC.
