Nagpur: A major fire engulfed a factory located in MIDC here on Wednesday. Thick smoke emitted from the fire could be seen for miles, causing chaos in the vicinity. Although the exact cause of the fire could not be immediately ascertained, no casualties have been reported so far.
Prima facie, a short circuit is believed to have caused the fire, according to sources. Materials worth lakhs of rupees were gutted in the fire.
