After battling hard for life, Mohammad Atique Mohammad Ziya breathed his last at Neuron Hospital on Sunday evening.
In the early hours of Sunday, Mohammad Hussain Gulam Mustafa (34), from Nalsahab Chowk, had died after being hit by a Mercedes. Atique was rushed to Mayo Hospital in critical condition. As his health deteriorated, he was referred to Neuron Hospital, where he passed away

Nagpur: Sensation prevailed in the Tehsil area in the wee hours of Sunday after a reckless Mercedes car mowed down a man, killing him, and injuring his friend.
Based on the complaint lodged, cops have booked accused driver.
Madhuri Shishir Sarda (37), a resident of Wardhaman Nagar, and Ritika slais Ritu Dinesh Malu (39), a resident of Deshpande Layout were riding in a Mercedes car (MH/49/AS/6111).
At around 1:30 am, victims Mohammad Hussain Gulam Mustafa (34), Nalsahab Chowk, and Mohammad Atique Mohammad Ziya (32), a resident of Jafar Nagar, were crossing Ramjula on their activa when, they were knocked down by the luxury car. Hussain and Atique were rushed to Mayo Hospital.
However, Hussain was declared dead on arrival, while Atique is being monitored in critical condition.
An offense under relevant sections was registered by Tehsil Police against the accused driver.
Further investigations are ongoing.
