Video: RPF staff saves woman from falling under moving train at Gondia Railway Station

Nagpur: A major tragedy was averted thanks to an alert Railway Protection Force (RPF) staff member who rescued a woman from being run over by the train, when the latter slipped from moving train at Gondia Railway Station, here on Thursday night.

The incident took place at around 8 pm on Thursday, while the woman was trying to board a train (12833). In CCTV footage, the woman could be seen slipping as she tried to board the moving train. The woman would have fallen into the gap between the coach & the platform; however, RPF Reserve member D K Lilhare saved her from falling under the train and pushed her inside.
