Whenever he visits another city, Shah Rukh Khan probably goes to and from the airport in the comfort of a luxury car. But not if he’s been visiting Kolkata, and his host is the state chief minister.
A video has surfaced on social media, catching Khan’s arrival at the Kolkata airport after he was in the city to inaugurate the Kolkata International Film Festival. Mamata Banerjee decided that she would personally drop the owner of Kolkata Knight Riders at the airport.
And since Banerjee travels in an aged Santro, Khan, who is the brand ambassador of Bengal, had no choice but to ride in it – in the back seat, for Banerjee always sits next to the driver. The video above captures their arrival at the airport, and the genuine warmth between the two is on display as SRK touches the feet of Banerjee.
