Nagpur: In yet another incident exposing an alleged syndicate between tuition classes and colleges, Sollverz Academy, TSE PRO Learning Pvt Ltd, in Sonegaon, has reportedly duped several students and their parents of lakhs of rupees under the pretext of providing ‘college-private classes’ tie-ups in exchange for hefty amounts.
Based on complaints lodged by several parents, the Sonegaon Police have booked accused tuition class director Tejaswi Tejashish Prakash Salawe, a resident of Pannase Layout, near Ganesh Lawn, Sonegaon, under Sections 417 and 420 of the IPC.
Speaking to Nagpur Today, the parents of the students narrated their ordeal, describing how the classes had assured them of ‘college-private classes’ tie-ups, wherein students would only attend private tuition classes instead of going to colleges. The students would only appear for exams and practicals at the ‘designated’ college.
Salawe reportedly promised a similar arrangement with Khamla-based Jupiter College and his institution to lure gullible parents and students into his trap. However, to the parents’ shock, he never enrolled their wards in the college. Following an argument with his teachers over pending salaries, he stopped taking classes for their students.
