Nagpur: The Vidarbha Institute of Technology, Nagpur, of NSS Unit of VIT College organized the National Unity Day 2022 & Pledge ceremony to mark the celebration & commemoration of the Birth Anniversary of Eminent Indian statesman and Iron Man of India Sardar Vallabhai Patel on October 31
NSS officer Prof. Saurabh V. Lawate led the pledge with all teaching, non-teaching staff & students for National Unity Day Pledge and explained that India is a secular country with diversified cultures and the significances in their own kind. As an endeavour to solidify the bond of oneness and unification, the country celebrates the Birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabhai Patel on October 31 as Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day).

Dr. S. B. Deshpande, Principal, Dr. Nilesh Bodne, Vice Principal and Guest of Honour PSI Shivaji Borkar (Kuhi Police Station) explained and provided an opportunity to re-affirm the inherent strength and resilience of our nation to withstand the actual and potential threats to the unity, integrity and security of our country. A throng of activities were organized all through the day to support the cause of promoting unity and celebrating “National Unity Day” in the College premises.
