A delegation of Vidarbha Taxpayers Association (VTA) led by its immediate past President J. P. Sharma & welcomed recently appointed collector Dr. Vipin Itankar, IAS by presenting a flower bouquet.
J. P. Sharma informed about the VTA to the Collector that a consortium of taxpayers had formed this Association with aim to protect and safeguards the common man’s right as a taxpayer; also informed about the various activities of VTA carried in the larger interest of the society.

Tejinder Singh Renu Secretary of VTA shared details of various public interest litigations filed by VTA in public interest. He also said that Nagpur is fortunate to have such a young and dynamic Collector, who is also a doctor by profession thereby making the city further safer in the fight against pandemic.
Collector Dr. Vipin Itankar said that it’s my job to resolve issues of the citizens and I’ll be available for the citizens; however citizens should also understand that they need to follow law and order which makes things easier and makes administration, people friendly.
Prominently present in the delegation were Hemant Trivedi – Vice President, Joint Secretaries – Amarjeet Singh Chawla & Rajesh Kanoongo and Hemant Sharma.
