Nagpur: A Wardha-bound 15-year old girl went missing mysteriously from the ST Bus Stand since July 19. The girl reportedly reached Wardha but did not reach home and could have been abducted by unidentified person(s). Cops have launched a massive manhunt to trace the girl.
The 20-year complainant told police that she dropped her 15-year old sister at Ganeshpeth Bus Stand around 1 pm on July 19 as she was going to Wardha. The complainant further told cops that she received a phone call from her sister informing her that she had reached Wardha. However, since then the girl went missing under mysterious circumstances. All efforts by the elder sister to find her younger sibling at all possible places proved futile. Finally, the panicky sister approached Ganeshpeth police and filed a missing complaint.
Ganeshpeth PSI Mahadik, following the directives of Supreme Court which says that if any minor girl or boy goes missing then the case be treated as that of kidnapping, has registered a case under Section 363 of IPC and mounted a intense search to trace the 15-year old girl with the help of their Wardha counterparts.
