Nagpur: The city Crime Branch conducted raids at showrooms and offices of Tajshree Group promoted by Avinash Bhute for his links with the Wasankar scam. The Crime Branch seized 120 Honda City cars and 137 two wheelers from his gowdown situated at MIDC. According to information the value of the seized goods is around 10 crore.
Actually, an amount of 10 crore from Wasankar’s account was diverted to some other alleged accounts. Due to this reason the police had started investigation of Bhute and three other persons concerning this diversion of funds. The police had approached court as Bhute was not cooperating with the investigation.
On these lines the police on Tuesday conducted raids at the Bhute’s godown at MIDC and seized 120 Honda Cty cars and 137 two wheelers from here.
