Nagpur: It has been almost a week since a naked male body with severe injuries was found on the roadside near Pawangaon under Kalamna Police Station on April 13. However, the Nagpur police, despite their intelligence, have not only failed to apprehend the murderers, but they are also yet to identify the deceased.
It is worth mentioning that some locals first spotted the naked male body with severe injuries on April 13 between Pawangaon and Kamptee Road, and then alerted the cops. At first glance, the police suspected that the deceased was killed elsewhere and that his body was dumped near Pawangaon.
The police have registered a murder case against the unidentified accused and launched a thorough investigation in this regard. However, almost a week has passed, and both the vigilant Kalamna Police and the sleuths of Nagpur Crime Branch are still groping in the dark. This raises questions about the ability of the Nagpur Police.
The Second Capital of the State has seen a disturbing increase in body offenses; rising incidents of rapes have also raised questions about the safety of women in the city of the Deputy Chief Minister who is also the Home Minister of the State.
