Nagpur News : Maharashtra men and women teams triumphed in 2nd West Zone Senior National Atyapatya Championship held at Warda recently.
In all five teams participated in the championship. In the men’s final, Maharashtra defeated Madhya Pradesh 46-16, 40-18 in straight two sets. Sourabh Mohod, Ankush Ghate, sagar Gulhane and Nikhil Punjabi played well for Maharashta.
In the women’s final, Maharashtra got the better of Madhya Pradesh 35-12, 32-14 thanks to Nita Renge, Aditi Telange and Ashwita Hegde who fashioned the victory. Dr Deepak Kavishwar and Dr VS Deshmukh worked hard for the success of tournament.
