WhatsApp, which suffered a global outage today for a brief period, with users reporting problems accessing the app, is now back and running.
According to downdetector.com, WhatsApp was down in India, parts of the Middle East, Philippines, Germany, USA and Sri Lanka.Worldwide, users were being shown the clock symbol after attempting to send a message, meaning that the message hasn’t been sent to WhatsApp’s servers.
Downdetector.com said over a thousand of WhatsApp customers reported issues using the app and 60 per cent customers were having issue connecting to it. A further 25 per cent report issues receiving messages and 14 per cent were struggling to login.
