The Winter Examination of the CBS (Credit Based System) course of Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU), were postponed due to administrative problems, claimed Controller of Examination Prashant Mohite.
He further said that examinations were just re-shuffled to avoid unnecessary complications and lapses in the conduction of examination.
There are many factors like distribution, logistics and examination centres which have to be taken into consideration to avoid lapses. However, he did not reveal the exact administrative problems which caused them to defer the examinations, citing ‘Confidentiality’.
The COE further added that there is not a significant time gap between the old dates and the new dates of the examinations. He said that the revised time table has already been uploaded on the varsity’s website.
Moderation not the cause for delay
While speaking to the media personnel, the COE emphatically clarified that ‘moderation’ was not the cause for deferring of the examinations. He has the teacher’s absolute support for the moderation work, stated COE Mohite.
However Vice Chancellor Dr Vinayak Deshpande while answering to the media personnel about the deferring the examinations said that they will investigate the cause for the delay in order to prevent future lapses.
