Nagpur: A middle-aged woman committed suicide after recording her video statement narrating her ordeal. Her relative woman was booked by MIDC police on charges of abatement to suicide.
Chanda Manoj Paliwal (46), a resident of Chhatrapati Nagar, Sonegaon, was booked by the police for suicide of Shama Shamlal Paliwal (38), a resident of Flat No. A/8, Yashoda Nagar, Jaitala.

According to police, Shama and Chanda are relatives. Shama in the video narrated her ordeal in which she accused Chanda of mental harassment. Shama committed suicide on November 20 by hanging herself from a ceiling fan with a nylon rope, police said. The video came to fore during investigation of the case.
On the complaint of Sahil, son of Shama, MIDC police registered a case under Section 306 of Indian Penal Code against Chanda Paliwal. Further probe is underway.
